Dadaab, Kenya
August 2011

The combination of the Somalian civil war and the lack of water supply made Somalian citizens flee to refugee camps in Dadaab, Kenya. Journalist Ine Roox and I were commissioned by the newspaper De Standaard to look into the situation on-site. Together Dadaab's three temporary settlements form the largest refugee camp in the world.
